Every knife leaves the workshop well protected and with a tracking number, so you can follow it all the way to your hands. We ship to mainland Portugal, Madeira, the Azores and the countries of the European Union.

Delivery times count from dispatch and are indicative; they may be longer during holiday periods or for reasons beyond AF Knifeworks' control.
Order preparation
- In-stock pieces: dispatched within 2 working days of payment confirmation.
- Custom orders: the making time is stated in the written quote. The piece is dispatched once finished and paid for.
- As soon as your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with the tracking number.
Costs
- The shipping cost is calculated at checkout, before you complete payment.
- Free shipping for orders over €200.00 to mainland Portugal, the Azores and Madeira, and over €250.00 to the European Union.
Delivery
- We ship with CTT Expresso, with tracking.
- Knives are only sold to people aged 18 or over. Orders are delivered against signature.
- If nobody is home, the carrier leaves a notice and tries again or directs you to a pickup point.
- If an order is returned because of a wrong address or because it was not collected, the cost of sending it again is paid by the customer.
Shipping to the European Union
Laws on carrying and owning knives vary from country to country. Before ordering, please make sure the piece may be bought and used in your country. AF Knifeworks reserves the right not to ship to destinations where the law does not allow it.
Damage in transit
- Please check the package on delivery.
- If your order arrives damaged, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the packaging and the piece. Please keep the packaging until we reply.
Payment
Payment methods (MB WAY, PayPal and bank transfer) will be available when the shop opens.
Returns
You have 30 days from delivery to return in-stock pieces. Custom pieces cannot be returned, but they get free adjustments for 30 days. Full details are in the Terms and Conditions.
